The 2026 China (Wenzhou) Hardware & Intelligence Lock Fair Concludes on a High Note
The 2026 China (Wenzhou) Hardware & Intelligence Lock Fair closed its doors on 30 May, and as organizers, our first and most important message is one of gratitude: to the overseas buyers who made the journey to join us here in Wenzhou.

From 28 to 30 May, the Wenzhou Exhibition Centre became a true meeting point for global trade. Buyers from dozens of countries and regions – spanning Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the Americas and beyond – walked our halls, sat across from our manufacturers, and turned business cards into lasting partnerships. Your presence transformed the exhibition into what it was always meant to be: a genuine dual-circulation platform serving both domestic and international markets for hardware and smart locks.
Despite challenges facing the wider home furnishing supply chain, the scale of this year's event continued to grow. Exhibition space expanded, and more than 800 enterprises from across the entire industry chain took part. We were honored to welcome city leaders and national industry associations, whose attendance reflected the platform's rising influence – but it was you, our international guests, who gave the fair its truly global character.

We made a deliberate push to deepen our "new export corridors" this year, and the response was beyond encouraging. Overseas buyer attendance rose sharply, with our visitor delegation covering a significantly wider geographic footprint than in previous editions. On-site negotiations were intensive, and early tallies point to substantial transaction and intention order volumes, with export orders accounting for a meaningful share of the total – providing a timely boost to enterprises seeking stability and growth in overseas markets.
One of the most exciting developments was the debut of a dedicated cross-border e-commerce ecosystem at the show. The first-ever Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference for the Hardware and Lock Industrial Belt sparked hundreds of preliminary cooperation intentions, firmly planting "cross-border e-commerce + industrial belt" at the heart of Wenzhou’s trade story. To every buyer who explored this new channel with us: thank you for helping us open this door.
Innovation, too, took center stage. Leading manufacturers unveiled next-generation AI-powered smart locks featuring human shape detection, behavioral analysis and intelligent alerts. We saw packed crowds around these demonstrations, with many international buyers among those asking the sharpest questions. Alongside the product launches, technical forums and over ten side events – from woodwork aesthetics to locksmith skills competitions – delivered a multi-dimensional boost to industrial upgrading. The buzz was not just about products, but about the shared ambition to shape the future of smarter living.

Throughout the three days, the "Wenzhou – China's Lock Capital, Intelligently Made" brand resonated far beyond our venue walls, generating enormous online visibility and reinforcing Wenzhou's position as a hub of hardware excellence recognised at the provincial level.
To every international buyer, partner and industry friend who travelled to be with us: this expo grew because you showed up. We are deeply grateful for your trust, your time and your energy. Your willingness to build bridges between markets and cultures is what turns a trade show into a community.
Safe travels home. We look forward to welcoming you back to Wenzhou – China's Lock Capital. Until then, let's keep the conversations going and the innovation growing, together.
