Aowei Cloud Network: 62% user recognition for AI smart lock security by 2025
Recently, with the deep integration of AI technology and smart homes, AI smart locks have been upgraded from a single unlocking tool to a multifunctional security terminal.
According to the latest research by OvCloud, there is a clear hierarchical difference in users' attention to various functions, among which AI security functions have become the core demand with absolute advantages.
Especially, the "voice drive away" function has gained 62% of "very interested" users among purchased users, becoming the most recognized feature point.
From the overall data, AI security functions are leading the way in all aspects. The two major functions of "door lock camera image analysis and identification of safety hazards" and "warning simultaneous sound to drive away" have both received high attention from 59% of users, and "accurate video slicing push warning" also has a support rate of 57%.
It is worth noting that purchased users have a significantly higher recognition of security features than potential users, with their favorability for the "voice drive away" function being 7 percentage points higher than that of potential users, reflecting that the actual user experience has strengthened users' awareness of active security needs.
In terms of unlocking function, "AI fingerprint" and "AI facial recognition" are tied for second place, both favored by 54% of users. This type of function solves the pain points of traditional biometric recognition by intelligently adapting to issues such as fingerprint aging and facial changes.
The interest rate of "AI facial recognition" among purchased users has reached 56%, which is 6 percentage points higher than that of potential users, indicating that the maturity of the technology has been verified by the market.
Among other features, "AI Battery" ranks among the top with 51% attention, indicating a clear demand for intelligent battery life management among users. In contrast, the acceptance of extended features such as "virtual butler" is relatively low, with only 31% of users expressing interest.
