30th Anniversary Celebration of Wenzhou Hardware Chamber of Commerce

On the afternoon of May 16, 2025, the press conference for the 30th Anniversary Series of Events of Wenzhou Hardware Association and the 2025 China (Wenzhou) International Hardware & Intelligent Lock Fair was grandly held.


  • Over ten national, provincial, and local media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency, Zhejiang Daily, and Wenzhou Daily, along with secretaries-general of related industry associations, gathered to witness the event. Attendees included Mr. Cheng Jingkun (President of the Wenzhou Hardware Association), Mr. Jin Changhui (Executive Vice President), Mr. Li Guorong (Secretary-General), and representatives from Zhejiang Donnor International Exhibition Co., Ltd., including General Manager Mr. Shi Xianwei, Deputy General Manager Ms. Lin Yidan, and Project Manager Ms. Zheng Xuanfei. The conference was hosted by Secretary-General Mr. Li Guorong and focused on the upcoming major event in the hardware and lock industry.


President Cheng Jingkun Briefed on the Chamber’s 30th Anniversary & Exhibition Highlights:

On May 27, the High-Level Forum on Empowering Wenzhou’s Hardware and Lock Industry through Domestic-International Integration and the 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Association will take place at Shangri-La Hotel, Wenzhou. Over 300 guests will attend the conference, and more than 600 guests will join the evening banquet, including top industry leaders, international delegates, and government officials. The event will feature micro dramas, keynote speeches, panel discussions, the premiere of a 30th-anniversary documentary, award presentations, and strategic cooperation signings.

The concurrent exhibition is co-hosted by multiple national-level associations and is officially certified by UFI. This year, a new Foreign Trade Zone has been introduced to further connect with the international market. The event includes four core sections: Opening Ceremony, Exhibition Showcases, Forums, and Buyer Factory Tours, with several themed forums running in parallel.

“This 30th-anniversary milestone provides a great opportunity to showcase Wenzhou's strength and vitality in the global hardware and lock industry,” said President Cheng.

  • As the highlight of the Chamber’s anniversary celebration, the 2025 China (Wenzhou) International Hardware & Intelligent Lock Fair will be held from May 28 to 30 at the Wenzhou International Convention & Exhibition Center, covering 50,000 sqm of exhibition space. More than 800 companies along the industrial chain will participate, marking three major breakthroughs:

Breakthrough in Internationalization: A dedicated Foreign Trade Premium Zone will host over 30 export-oriented enterprises. Buyer delegations from Belt and Road Initiative and RCEP countries will attend, supporting dual circulation of domestic and international trade.

Expansion of Business Ecosystem: Leading national enterprises such as Morgan Smart and Hutlon will make their debut, creating synergy with Wenzhou’s local brands.

Elevated Industry Influence: High-end forums including the China Door, Window & Home Supply Chain Forum and Smart Lock Industry Chain Summit will be held, alongside the launch of the “Golden Shield Award”, driving the industry’s innovation trend.

  • Mr. Shi Xianwei, General Manager of Zhejiang Donnor Exhibition, emphasized that “this exhibition is more than just a trade platform — it’s a global hub for innovation and collaboration in the hardware and intelligent lock industry. We aim to promote Wenzhou’s transformation from China’s Lock Capital to the World’s Lock Capital through deeper international cooperation.”

    “At thirty, we stand firm in our mission.”

    President Cheng concluded the press conference by stating,

    “The Chamber will continue to serve as a bridge between government and enterprises. With joint efforts, we are committed to contributing Wenzhou’s wisdom and China’s solutions to the global hardware and lock industry.”
