  2. Exhibition Influence and Effectiveness: After two successful exhibitions, the fair has gained significant influence within the industry, becoming one of the largest exhibition platforms for hardware and lock products in China.

  3. Product Highlights and Innovation: The fair showcased the latest products and technologies from the hardware and smart lock industries, including smart locks with peephole screens, facial recognition smart locks, finger vein recognition smart locks, as well as custom decorative hardware and door accessories.

• Lock World: What Progress Has Been Made for the 2025 Wenzhou Hardware and Lock Fair? What Are the Expected Exhibition Area and Number of Exhibitors?

  Zheng Xuanfei:
  A popular saying now is "If you don't go overseas, you'll be left behind." Therefore, we are fully promoting internationalization for the 2025 fair, with a focus on enhancing publicity in countries along the Belt and Road Initiative and RCEP countries, and organizing related purchasing companies to attend the exhibition. The previous fair attracted global visitors from countries such as Canada, Russia, Pakistan, Turkey, and the Philippines. We expect the international visibility and competitiveness of the fair to further increase.

  It is expected that more than 700 companies from the hardware and lock industry chain will participate in the 2025 Wenzhou Hardware and Lock Fair, an increase in the number of exhibitors compared to previous editions. The exhibition will feature more well-known industry brands and mainstream companies. The organizing committee is also continuously optimizing the layout of the exhibition area and improving the scale and level of the fair to ensure the best experience for exhibitors and buyers.

  The 2024 China (Wenzhou) International Hardware and Smart Lock Exhibition successfully passed UFI certification, which means it has been recognized by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry in terms of exhibition scale, event quality, and service levels. This further enhances the international influence of the fair. Regarding the invitation of professional visitors, the organizing committee has focused on inviting domestic and international professionals. Buyers from countries such as Russia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines have confirmed their attendance for purchasing. During the fair, several professional forums and activities will be held, covering various sectors including doors, windows, and home supply chains, smart locks, and cross-border e-commerce.

• Lock World: Lastly, let’s look ahead to the smart lock industry in 2025. How do you predict the upcoming 2025 year? What trends do you think the smart lock industry will see?

  According to publicly available data, the channel structure of the smart lock market saw a shift in 2024, with the consumer (C-end) market surpassing the business (B-end) market for the first time, becoming the dominant force. This indicates that the smart lock industry is transitioning from being driven by real estate dividends to being driven by consumption upgrades. We expect the smart lock industry to continue its growth trend in 2025, with the market size further expanding. At the same time, market competition will become more intense, and companies will need to continuously innovate and upgrade their products to meet market demand. With the dual push from policy support and market demand, the smart lock industry will usher in even broader development prospects.
