The 2023 Annual and Standard Review Meeting of Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware was successfully held
On November 23, the 2023 annual meeting and standard review meeting of the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee of the National Hardware Products Standardization Technical Committee was grandly held in Xiamen, Fujian. Xiang Xiaoxia, Director of the Quality Standards Department of the China Light Industry Federation, and Liu Runfeng, Full time Vice Chairman of the China Hardware Products Association and Secretary General of the National Hardware Products Standardization Technical Committee, attended the meeting. Gui Hongbo, Director of the Standardization Department of the Fujian Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, Liu Hua, Deputy Director of the Quanzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, Zhang Yuping, Director of the Standardization Department of the Xiamen Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, Xie Mingshun, Deputy Chairman of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee, Lin Xiaowei, President of Operations of Jiumu Group&Founder of Xiaomu Youpin and Secretary General of the National Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee, as well as testing institutions and research institutes from all over the country Nearly 80 representatives from certification agencies and enterprises attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Runfeng.
Xiang Xiaoxia fully recognized the work achievements of the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee. She pointed out that the project proposals put forward by the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee in the past two years are in line with standardization policies, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the government's focus on key areas of industrial development. They are at the forefront of product lightweight design and consumer product classification in the kitchen and bathroom field. At the same time, suggestions were put forward for the deployment of standardization work in the future, including doing a good job in top-level standardization design, strengthening the construction of standard systems and internationalization activities, and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievement standards.
Liu Runfeng fully affirmed the outstanding performance of the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee in the standard development work in 2023, and hoped that the Standards Committee would conscientiously implement the spirit of the National Standardization Development Outline, the Strategic Plan for Expanding Domestic Demand (2022-2035), and the Guidelines for the Construction of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Standard System, improve the product service standard system, and lead the industry's green and high-quality development, To steadily improve the quality, safety, and quality level of Chinese sanitary ware through quality grading. The next step is to further improve the standardization system construction in the kitchen and bathroom hardware subdivision field, timely complete the preparation and revision of standards, ensure the progressiveness and operability of standards, strengthen the construction of group standards, and continue to do a good job in the work of the Standardization Committee.
Liu Hua expressed his best wishes for the standardization of the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee, and hoped that with the care and support of the National Standards Committee, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, leaders and members at all levels, the Committee will steadily participate in the formulation of more international standards, gradually moving from national first-class to world first-class.
Zhang Yuping introduced the current situation of standardization development in Xiamen City and highly praised the achievements of the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee in standard formulation and revision, as well as standard training, publicity, research, and external exchanges, which were commendable and congratulatory, especially in terms of green and low-carbon, age friendly products, and quality grading, keeping up with the situation and responding to the call, fully leveraging the advantages of professional technical committees in implementing major national strategic decisions.
Gui Hongbo introduced the development process of the Standards Committee since its establishment, and put forward three suggestions based on the next work of the Standards Committee, combined with the current situation of standardization work at home and abroad: firstly, to enhance affinity, fully leverage the advantages of the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee as a platform for communicating the development of national standardization work and the professional technical committee; secondly, to achieve internationalization, we need to cultivate international standardization talents, promote the conversion of foreign language standards versions, and enhance the international influence of China's kitchen and bathroom hardware standards; thirdly, polish the "golden business card" and enhance the business card effect of the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Technical Committee.
Lin Xiaowei presented a "2023 Work Summary" and a "2024 Work Plan Report" to the conference. In 2023, the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Standardization Committee carried out a total of 17 standard development work, including 8 project applications, 4 approvals, 7 standards under study, 3 releases, and 2 reviews. Relevant units were also organized to assist in conducting 3 related standardization research projects, namely: Green and Low Carbon Standards for Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware, Standards for Elderly Home Products, and Product Quality Grading Standards. Through special research projects, the scientific and forward-looking technical standard system in the field of kitchen and bathroom hardware has been improved, laying a solid foundation for the "Chinese Standard 2035" in the field of kitchen and bathroom hardware.
In 2024, the Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Subtraction Commission will continue to take Xi Jinping's thoughts of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era, implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, thoroughly study the "National Standardization Development Outline" and the research on the standard system in the field of kitchen and bathroom hardware, and carry out crucial work on "green and low -carbon", "age-friendly", and "quality classification" and other key areas which are mentioned in the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan" in the field of kitchen and bathroom hardware standardization, thus to fully promote the comprehensive competitiveness in the field of kitchen and bathroom hardware, and promote the high -quality development of the industry.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary General Huang Qiuqiong, on behalf of the Secretariat, read out the list of members to be adjusted and the list of members and observers to be added, dismissed, and adjusted approved by the National Standards Commission, and reviewed the resolution on the adjustment of members. At the same time, exemplary organization and outstanding individuals of standardization in 2023 were commended at the meeting.
During the meeting, the national standard "General Technical Requirements for Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Products" and the industry standard "Electronic Water Nozzles" were reviewed and approved, and a national standard seminar on "Quality Classification of Kitchen and Bathroom Hardware Products" was held.
