How Much Money Dealers Selling Smart Locks Make in 2021?

How many sets will smart lock dealers sell on average in 2021? How many dealers can make money? How many sets per month can you earn money? In view of this series of problems, the door lock world launched the survey on the survival of Chinese intelligent lock dealers in 2021 years ago.

A total of 809 valid questionnaires were collected in this survey, of which 38.8% of dealers had less than 10 sets of monthly average sales; The average monthly sales volume of 25.5% dealers is between 10-30 sets, and that of 10.4% dealers is between 30-50 sets; 8.9% of dealers sell 50-100 sets per month; 8.4% of the dealers have an average monthly sales volume of 100-500 sets; 3.1% of the dealers have an average monthly sales volume of 500-1000 sets; In addition, 4.9% of dealers sold more than 1000 sets per month.

From the survey results, the vast majority of smart lock dealers with average monthly sales of less than 10 and annual sales of more than 100 sets are still in the "food and clothing line", and the profit margin is not high. Therefore, these dealers also rely on the installation orders of the third-party platform to increase their revenue.

Dealers with an average monthly sales volume of 10-30 sets account for 25.5%. The annual sales volume of these dealers is about 100-300. If their sales are not low-end smart locks, their gross profit is OK;

For dealers with average monthly sales of 30-50 sets, 50-100 sets and 100-500 sets, the combined proportion of these three dealers is about 18%, and the gross profit of these dealers should be very high;

The proportion of dealers with average monthly sales of 500-1000 sets and more than 1000 sets after the merger is less than 10%. Most of these dealers are local general agents or general dealers. They have multiple distributors, and their own retail is not much.

During the investigation, most dealers said that they rely on the sales of smart locks. If they want to make a profit, the annual sales volume should be at least 200 sets, that is, the average monthly sales volume should be at least about 15 sets, and they can't sell too cheap smart locks.
